Too interested in chatting than to serve at the bar. Waited 15 minutes but wasnt even acknowledged. It wasn't that busy. Left for a better place.

A nice bar and restaurant just having been taken over. Drinks expensive but served by very enthusiastic bar a manger. Disappointed it was closed on Sunday evening and bank holiday Monday.

No way near enough bar staff on a busy bank holiday. Waited 4 deep at the bar for a poor pint. Quite worn and tired too.

Arrived to find no beers at all available on draft due to a gas problem. Selling bottles of beer only., which were expensive and the choice limited. It seemed full and busy never the less. As a good dlees meer...

A rough feel to the place. Dirty worn and lots of swearing locals. Lots of flys in the bar area too. Stella was ok and reasonable.

A lovely afternoon in the spring sunshine. Seated out side on the patio with great service from the bar staff. We just had drinks which were far too enjoyable. Lol.

A quick snack before the cinema which is just opposite. We ordered straight at the bar and was soon served with food within 5 to 10 minutes. Very good and friendly service.

Called in while visiting at the nearby Hospital. Warm welcome from the bar man and regulars. Good Grolsch lager on Tap.

A Great atmospheric pub with loads of tables at the front to enjoy. The Covid restrictions were in place and working well with quick friendly waitress service. The beer and wine was good and a good oplees meer...

First time visit for us. A very well run pub and restaurant with a great selection of unusual beers on tap. Large dining room with a log burner fire. A nice menu to choose from with some unusual Portulees meer...
