ピカタの Sēn アイス Gōng Fáng

When driving on the highway from Muroran towards Hakodate, the highway comes to an end at one point. After driving on the local roads for a bit, you come across a gelato shop at the intersection of a major national road. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind from the highway drive. The shop is not very big, but it has a spacious parking lot. It is a bit disappointing that the parking lot is not paved and instead covered in hard gravel, which may be a little intimidating for motorcycles. The gelato is delicious, but they also offer products with soft serve ice cream, which is rich in flavor yet not overly sweet and very tasty.

The restaurant is located facing a crossroads with a spacious parking lot, making it convenient for customers to come and go. There are beautiful flower beds and benches on the grass outside, making it pleasant to dine al fresco. It seems to be run by a ranch, as they sell milk, ice cream, yogurt, and other products, which can also be ordered for delivery. The variety of ice cream is not extensive, with many being dairy-based. Personally, I found the blueberry flavor to be delicious, with a rich color and taste. The coffee milk was also tasty with a subtle sweetness, making it easy for adults to enjoy as well.

I ordered a set of ice cream and gelato. I chose melon from the many gelato options, thinking Hokkaido must be good for melons, and it was a great choice. The concentrated sweetness of the melon was delicious. The ice cream had a rich milk flavor and I was very satisfied with it as well.
