Beetle Cafe - 美瑛町

Located just a few minutes' walk from Biei Station, I parked my car at the station and walked over to this cafe that appears to have been renovated from an old house. It is run by a woman who seemed to be in charge all by herself. I ordered the daily special hamburger for 750 yen, and was presented with a massive Biei pork patty burger with tomato, lettuce, and avocado sandwiched in between. The side of homemade potato chips was delicious. The buns were also sturdy and made for a great combination. I chose to sit in the most relaxing spot in the reception area and enjoyed my burger at a leisurely pace. The iced tea I ordered was neither good nor bad. It's nice to see cafes like this popping up around Biei Station.

This place is really delicious! One of the highlights is chatting with the owner.

The boulangerie is so delicious, I'm happy! I will definitely go there again.
