Shàn Wū そば - 奥出雲町

I visited this restaurant for the first time in 13 years. Among the Izumo soba, I really love the strong texture that reminds me of Yamagata soba. The rich flavor pairs well with the dark soy sauce. They have canned beer, but it would be perfect if they had a variety of sake and soba miso. Located at one of the top local train stations in western Japan, it is relatively easy to visit with a convenient train schedule for lunchtime. I hope the Kishin Line will continue to be loved by the local people and travelers for many years to come.

Located inside the Kamekusu Station, this restaurant is famous for its wariko soba. Many customers order the basic three pieces, but some even go for eight pieces. It is so popular that there can be a line from the morning. The restaurant parking lot is shared with the station parking lot, and payments can also be made using PayPay.

It's been a while since I last had it, but it was delicious. The soba from Oku-Izumo had a good texture and the flavor was great. The noodles were a bit thicker than usual. お昼すぎでしたので、入り口付近に順番待ちの方が数名。名前を書いて待つことに…若い女性スタッフがキビキビ手際よく接客、アルバイトでしょうかお兄さんスタッフも丁寧な接客です。希望の蕎麦を選び、定食にできます。限定15食らしいです。 山月蕎麦定食いただきました。けっこう早く出てきましたよ。定食は、蕎麦とさば味噌煮、大根なます、根菜炊き合わせ、隠岐アラメ煮、大根みそ漬けの漬物、美味しい御飯、蕎麦湯も絶妙タイミングで出てきました。どれもとても味付けもよく、器もとてもよかったです。チャンスがあれば、又、いきたいです。
