Pondus - Aarhus

A food experience beyond the usual. We got 3 small delicious snack and 4 dishes menu that just played. (maybe a little too marked reddish in the dessert) Still 5 stars from here. Selected their white Mercurey, La Brigadier 2021 to the menu which was a good match. Really attentive and sweet, service-minded staff.

Pondus is a hidden gem next to the canal in Aarhus. We loved it! The ”Bistro style place, specializes in farm to table with primarily organic/Danish ingredients. The tasting menu featured five courses all paired well with flavorful wines. The price is spot on with the service and quality of meal. The menu changes seasonally and the chef is accommodating for vegetarians and pescetareans. The standout appetizers and the braised free range pork belly and fried turbot tacos were outstanding! The service and knowledgeable staff really made the evening enjoyable. Pondus earns my five stars and glad to see a Michelin Bib Gourmand.

Great food experience in wonderful atmosphere in intimate restaurant. Hygge H and super staff reviewing the menu. The servants were present in the room. We chose the restaurant's menu and got there a Orange wine and yes it tasted well. The biggest surprise with super taste SUKKERSYLTEDE RØDBEDER in pie shape and crème fraiche We come again
