The Mains Of Drum - Aberdeenshire

My family and I often dine at this restaurant because the food is consistently delicious and hot, and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. Our most recent visit was once again enjoyable. The Cullen Skink and delicious bread are particularly outstanding and satisfying. The only minor complaint we have is that we were all disappointed to learn that the meal deal of soup and a dessert is no longer offered.

I wanted a quick lunch and decided to give Drum Garden Center a try. We decided to order the fish and chips and we were pleasantly surprised. The fish was light and crispy and the portion size was generous. My daughter couldn't finish her meal, so we asked for a takeout box to bring the rest home.

We have booked a table very easily online although I noticed that walk-ins are now also accepted, which is good. they can order now and also pay at the counter instead of get table service. the staff that served us was friendly and helpful. we all ordered suppe and a dessert as well as hot drinks. the suppers we had were cullen skink, carrot coriander and scotch broth and all of us were very satisfied with our choice. if they have their sticky toffee pudding on the menu when they go, I would order it definitiw as it was delicious. not too sweet and delightful melts in mouth, accompanied by custard, cream or ice. the atmosphere here is very pleasant and relaxing and the whole place is really clean. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

We have been loyal customers at Mains of Drum for a while now. Throughout the Covid-19 crisis, the management and staff have done an exceptional job of maintaining a safe environment while still making customers feel welcome. The friendly and efficient employees always make sure we are seated promptly. The menu options are currently limited, but we are seldom disappointed. The time limit of an hour and a half is understandable for a popular restaurant, although some other patrons may have been unhappy about it when booking. Out of all the places we have visited during the pandemic, Mains of Drum is where we feel the safest and most well taken care of.
