I enjoyed my meal that the stirring frige sauce with basmati rice was the only problem I had was the rest of the room that was a walk from the restaurant. the workers are tidy and warm and the room is spacious and quiet, although can fly once in a dam, but naija we dey lol. I will swallow again and try suppe as I have heard good things about them.
Argugun is a chill spot looking over the Jabi lake. the lookout is great and the waiters are friendly. but if I pay for a seafood carpet, I don't want to see a seafood carpet a plate of 2 calamari and fish that doesn't taste great. it would be better if we were asked how spicy we would like to be the fish because I am Nigerian and the fish should be seasoned accordingly. I don't want to get up after I eat fish. I'll be 6/10. the drinks were nice.
This is a nice restaurant with outdoor seating overlooking the lake. For starters, I had the sea food soup with garlic bread, yummy but I was a bit disappointed that the soup only had fish and calamari in it. Could’ve added more options like bits of shrimp and crab.. Also, the menu is painfully limited for such a restaurant. We were given sweet potato crisps to munch on as we waited for the food- which didn’t take too long. For mains, I had the fried rice and fish something. The rice was basic, but the fish tasted fresh and was delicious. The waiters were nice enough. Downside to sitting outside was the heat. The power kept going off, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the outdoors. I imagine it’s better at night time.
A small restaurant, good large filling eat portions, reasonable prices, quiet, good atmosphere, interior and exterior seats, comparatively small menu, beautiful view of the river, sufficient cooling, food could be a considerable long time, especially if there is a lot of them pleasant and convenient service.
They serve good seafood. I highly recommend them if they are a seafood lover or want to try something new.
