Once again a visit to the west acton park after a bike tour around the lake. in most nights they will notice that the business here has very few customers that makes it easier to find sitting and chillax while eating some decent food. do not let that be missing the amount of judges of quality. still a conservative food search for those who know. but it won't stay long enough secret the court that would come in the one would have to be their pressballs. I asked for a recommendation and the rolls of the choice was the cubanos a buttered american style bun home made wobble, pickle mix, chili emulsion, shiny, slowly boiled sous vide swath, honey smoked ham, cheese mix and mustard....read more
Another hidden gem in the westside acton park. the one is a take-out that specializes in American style deli sandwiches (denke cubanos, reubens, philly käsesteak etc.) with some other things in the menu such as tacos, wing and salat. How can they go wrong with soft squishy buttery brot and meat, with puree and cheese contrast? easy answer: you can't. the one has an amazing cubic that only that everything that is packed with a top of the rod meat-packed roasted sandwich for a very reasonable price. I'm back to the finals.
Last time we went to Westside, my friend got a sandwich from The One and I promised myself I would get it on my next visit. So, instead of making a beeline for Miss Van’s, I branched out. The One offers a range of meat-packed sandwiches and tacos, and I was tempted by the promise of pickles on their Cubanos – slow-cooked pork, pickles, onion, leg honey ham, mustard and cheese, toasted. I chose the large size 12.50), but it ended up being large enough for two lunches so I would probably get the small size 8.50) next time. This sandwich was to die for. I LOVED IT. Firstly the pork. There was LOTS of it – I’m talking tender, tasty, melt-in-your-mouth – and it went perfectly...read more
