I really enjoyed the place. The karaage chicken is tasty and very filling. Great value.I loved the beef and kangaroo carpaccios and the belly tuna is delicious and too good to share. Will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu. Every single dish.
Saw the restaurant on the passing along King William street, and decided to check it out with a bunch of friends. Mimasu is what I will call Japanese fusion done well. Really liked their nibbles (Lotus root chips free!!, and mini prawns), and their capaccios were done pretty nicely. Their sashimi platter is the highlight for me, particularly their wasabi is not the horseradish filled type that we get in Australia. The desserts are a slight let down. Go for their savoury dishes, maybe skip the dessert.
Authentic Fusion Teppanyaki!!! Friendly staff and the prompt service. We ordered an array of small plates with the Blue fin tartare being my highlight for the evening.
We visited this place for dinner following a friend's recommendation. The food that we had was alright. It was not good or bad, just not memorable. Also, we thought that it was expensive for what it was. Service was courteous.
