Mumm - Aeroeskoebing

Winter in a special time in aeroskobing. we experienced it at the beginning of february. restaurants were closed. the only open was mumm and only form Wednesday to Saturday. eating was the best we ate on the island. the decoration was raised. the taste glittered wonder in the mouth. for two people I was more than 100 euro. contempt: the bathroom is outside, which means that you have to dress warm before it is used.

The only open restaurant on the island when we were there and I would not have had a better dinner before I married the next day. excellent combinations of aromas and fresh ingredients.

We came to the restaurant to celebrate the wedding that happened earlier that day. Booked the table and chose there an option „wedding“, so when we came the table was decorated with red hearts. That felt very pleasant and sweet. Food was beyond expectations and melting in the mouth. Even with the menu quite small our guests (who are vegans/vegetarians managed to find smth for themselves. We would prefer bigger choice of drinks without alcohol (maybe juices or smth like that , but it’s just a small comment : Desserts were also veeery tasty: crème brulee and apple pie — highly recommend. Special thanks to the waitress (unfortunately don’t know her name with a bun on her head. She was very friendly, thoughtful and caring, spoke perfect English and German. Our mood was great thanks to her! Of course, the restaurant isn’t cheap, but it was worth it. Especially to celebrate the wedding :

Amazing vegan smørrebrød! Delicious local beer from Ærø. Dog friendly outside on the courtyard.

Food is delicious in terms of quality and complexity. chef plays with taste in top level. must really go.
