Strategic x the proximity to the museum in a country that does not offer much more. Good quality of typical Sicilian desserts, hot table with back room with seating.
We'll go for a after dinner at this bar. We approach the ice cream bar next to the case and order 2 small cones. My partner's waiting for ice creams and I'm approaching the cashier to pay. The cashier's gentleman looks at the cone prepared by the bartender pointing out that I was paying 2 small ice creams and suggesting that the cone was too big. What does the bartender do? Drop the cone and make it a smaller one. I'm so confused. First of all we had already told the bartender that the cone wanted it small, so all that exchange of looks between the 2 employees, almost to make it clear that we wanted to screw them was really rude and then, dear cashier, of course 20 grams more ice cream would certainly not have changed the cash at the end of the evening. You don't behave like this to a client, almost to make it clear that we wanted to be smart! Assurd, he could at least tell me that the cone was bigger and 50 cents more, I would have given it the same.
Nice place, very elegant, with seating. Excellent hot table, especially oranges with fresh ingredients. Very good artisan ice creams and equally good pastries. The owner will welcome you with courtesy of home.
We stopped for a coffee and went out from the back the ravines just made. Simply wonderful
