Ktunaxa Grill - AINSWORTH HOT SPRINGS

I have nothing but good things to say about our experience here. All of the food was absolutely delicious. The duck was my favorite, super tender and moist. The server was right about this chef being one of the few people who know how to cook duck well. The seafood pasta was tasty too. I'm usually not a fan of pesto based sauces but this one was really good and the shrimp and scallops were fresh too. Our server was a gentlemen who had a wonderful sense of humor made fantastic recommendations and was super attentive. His name tag only said FT and I didn't catch his name, but he definitely played a big part on why we had such a good experience. 100/10! Would recommend and would do again!

We ate three meals a day here during our stay at Ainsworth Hot Springs and we were surprised and delighted each time. The food is fresh, delicious, beautifully prepared and presented, and the staff is outstanding! We highly recommend eating here whether you’re staying at the resort or not. The view from the restaurant is also wonderful. We will return!

We ended up being early due to the ferry schedule for our hot spring reservation so we stopped in. Absolutely amazing service and a wonderful surprise for my birthday from our lovely waitress. The fish was perfect and the indigenous vodka was delicious! Would recommend.

We have dined here before, as we try to visit the springs once a year. Now the reason for my updated new review would have to be due to us ordering a dish here that was absolutely outstanding. Last night we decided to try the salt spring mussels appetizer. Incredible!!! Considering we are an eight hour drive from the ocean, I really didn't expect to have a dish like this so far inland, the seasoning of shallots and garlic with the side of Bannock was truly the highlight of the meal. My group and I also ordered the Reubens and one house made beef burger, the Reuben definitely outshine the burger however the burger was still quite tasty. We will for sure be making the mussels part of our yearly stop to the springs!

We stayed at the Ainsworth Hot Springs Resort for 3 nights in late September 2021 and enjoyed 2 breakfasts and 3 dinners at the Ktunaxa Grill during our stay. Wow! Everything we ordered from the eggs benedict with trout, oat bowl, mushroom croustade, arugula beet salad, daily pasta feature, Reuben sandwich and more.. was fabulously delicious! Service was fast and friendly too!
