1862 Nordic Bistro - Akureyri

Really good place. Quiet and relaxing music. Good toys for children too. The food has great quality and really reasonable price. The smoked salmon salad was superb. We also took two open sandwiches, one with roast beef and another with marinated chicken. Both great. Our child had the Icelandic tradicional soup and well, she doesn't speak yet, but the bowl ended up empty. Very recommended!

Best place in Akureyri to great local food! Have been here both for lunch, dinner, and coffee and I've always had very tasty food and nice service. Recommended for travellers looking for local North Icelandic food.

Yummy and beautiful space. But for the brunch, the price quality is a bit low. I recommand.

Great lamb special, chicken breast is also very good. Roast beef sandwich is a delight. The only 4 (not 5) is the seafood soup.
