Indian Curry House - Akureyri

If you are Indian and in Iceland since more than week and craving for Indian food then visit this place.Don’t expect outstanding food.Just eat what flavors they have in menu without comparing with real Indian food.

We went there and got the Lamb Curry and the Tikka Masala. Food was tasty, spicy and arrived within five minutes after ordering. I would highly recommend booking a table, since it was pretty crowded when we got there around 7pm. Staff’s nice, food is perfect especially if you go for the Kingfisher Indian beer as a drink. Prices are fair as well.

Friendly and fast service. I highly recommend the lamb, both Tandori and kadai lamb. The Indian Kingfisher beer is also nice.

It’s worth mentioning that my response might be biased as I generally enjoy Indian cuisine, but I’ll do my best to provide an objective assessment. The flavors of the dishes were enjoyable, and the quality of ingredients used was evident. While the food was good, I must admit that it didn’t surpass the exceptional Indian meals I’ve had in the past. Though not the best I’ve tasted, the culinary offerings were still satisfying. What truly set this place apart was the amicable nature of the people serving us. Their attentive and hospitable nature added to the overall dining experience, making us feel welcome and valued as guests. In summary, Indian curry house offers a pleasant dining experience with good Indian cuisine and prompt service. While it may not rank as the absolute best Indian restaurant I’ve ever visited, it certainly deserves recognition for its friendly staff and tasty dishes. If you’re seeking a decent Indian meal with welcoming hospitality, this is a place worth considering.

This is the one of the best Indian restaurant in Iceland. Everything we had was good and first-rate. The service was friendly and of a high standard. Just a place you all should stop at if you are in Akureyri and like Indian food
