Saffron - Albufeira

Ate here twice during our stay over 2 weeks and both meals just as lovely! We had between us chicken tikka balti’s (lovely and spicy) and a chicken tikka korma both delicious and well presented. Garlic nan is amazing! Also popadom dips were beautiful especially the lime pickle for me! The service here is great nothing is too much! Will definitely be returning next year.

Love a curry and visited here a few times. We sat downstairs outside in the bar area which we preferred. Always a great curry cooked spicy or mild to your liking. Great service and friendly staff.

Little gem of a restaurant , although Indian does offer usual fare to those travellers less adventurous with food ! Usual pie , fish fingers chips etc . But the star of the show here is definitely the Indian food , freshly cooked to however you want it , served in a beautiful manner on little hot plates , plenty of it too , excellent service . Restaurant looks over the coast it has lovely views , can eat in restaurant or outside in the square area where restaurant is situated . Highly recommended as very peaceful compared to old town and more importantly not catering for the masses !

Sat outside most evenings when dining while in the resort and, alas, this was the only restaurant where I was plagued by flies, which suggests they could do with giving the dining area floor a good scrub. It was a shame as the actual quality of the food was very good.

I had eaten here once before and was not impressed, this time however I was at the Arte Bar and a very intentive waiter was making his rounds for the customers of the bar. I decided based on his expert way of waiting to try a dinner. It was good and it is obvious things have improved. I will try again in the future and hope this waiter is still there. He really knows how to do his job right.
