We enjoyed our visit to The Joiners Arms and would recommend to other people

The service and food at this restaurant was excellent. Our dogs were made to feel welcome and all of our allergies and dietary restrictions (vegetarian) were taken care of.

We were staying in the Newton Hall Garden Rooms and had a voucher for the dinner, bed breakfast. The food in the Joiners Arms was delicious, fresh and piping hot. We didn’t have to wait long at all for our starters or mains and both were absolutely delicious. We had seen pictures online so when we realised they weren’t on the residents fixed menu they were happy to accommodate our request to pay towards the additional for what we wanted. I had fish (huge! and chips and my partner had the sirloin steak. Breakfast this morning was wonderful.. would recommend the full english and the eggs Benedict (with salmon … AMAZING! We also recommend the local beer (lamdbier and I had a gorgeous pina colada, so fresh!!! Lovely cosy pub with welcoming staff. Thank you x x x

The food was amazing, sitting at a table by the window was perfect for our dogs, and there were plenty of gluten and dairy-free options. The service was outstanding.

I went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch based on a recommendation. The ambiance and service were excellent. I was very impressed with the generous portions and the outstanding quality and taste of the food. I was not disappointed.
