The only difference is that they heat the food in front of you instead of in the back. Overall, the experience was the same, and the food was so bland!
At Shrimp Bowbox, be aware that the fried rice is actually steamed rice cooked with a touch of sweetness, which was very disappointing. On a positive note, the dumplings were quite good, and the salad was fresh. However, the shrimp was not up to standard; it was poorly blanched. The California roll included in the box was not made fresh, which certainly affected its taste. When made fresh, it can taste fantastic.
They don’t offer any free refills on drinks. I suppose beverages are so pricey these days that even a soda from the machine is considered too costly to provide more after you've already paid nearly $5 in cash. It’s alright, but I prefer the other Asian place, Chao Cajun, which does offer free refills.
It's pretty good for what I expected, but it was $55 for 2 Bento boxes with huh, 3 limonade and 2 garnel rolls. will eat there again.
Absolutely Horrendous, atrocious, and nasty. The chicken hibachi with fried rice is really bad. So was the egg roll.
