Staying at the Villa Gardea I decided it made sense to check out this restaurant. I dont normally go for fancy food and the menu was as such but still didn 't disappoint. A lovely upmarket smallish restaurant ambience nice and relaxing and very popular on the night I went. I had a main meal and dessert, glass of house wine and the cost was around 30 euros, which to be honest I didn 't think was that bad. Would recommend
I think that Sunseeker215 is describing the buffet in Villa Gadea as this restaurant has no buffet and has a small but delightful menu. It is quiet as someone else mentioned though the covered terrace was well occupied the night we were there. We decided to share both starters and just as well that the Spanish encourage centro when possible as they were both substantial. Our cod was cooked to perfection and it was just the calm atmosphere that we craved that evening. We were perfectly satisfied but do check the hotel 's diary as it is not open every evening.
Stayed at the Villa Gadea on an AI basis so ate all my meals in this restaurant. Food choice is vast with everything you could wish for. Abundant amount of fish, meat or fish cooked to order and huge salad bar. Very good value and pleasant waiting staff.
The food was quite good but quite expensive for the amount you received on your plate. They asked if we wanted bread as we had a wait for the food .They then charged €3 each ,which I have never experienced before. wouldn't go back
