Great Harvest Bakery And Cafe - Ames

Went for a cinnamon roll. It tasted good, but was a little hard. I suspect it was because I bought it after 11 AM and not at 7 AM. The staff was friendly and it was clean. The also asked my opinion about a new frosting for brownies.

Exceptional service, a wonderful variety, and FANTASTIC quality! My girlfriend and I arrived late but still found plenty of choices. We ordered a cinnamon chocolate chip loaf, a savory biscuit, and a scone. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My girlfriend forgot her mask and felt uncomfortable going in without one, so a staff member quickly ran to get one for her. This place is a fantastic find in downtown Ames. I highly recommend it! If possible, go early.

I met a friend here for an early lunch at her suggestion. There were plenty of food options available, including take-home items. We really enjoyed our meal, and the atmosphere was perfect for chatting, which was great. I’m excited to come back soon!

I recently visited Great Harvest Bakery and Cafe for the first time. Overall, it’s a nice, new establishment that is clean and spacious. The sandwich I had was quite good, though a bit pricey, but flavorful nonetheless. The service was quick and friendly, so I would definitely recommend it!

This place has some of the most outstanding customer service I’ve ever experienced. The service is a little slow, but when everything is made from scratch and is absolutely delicious i’m more than happy to be patient. I can’t say enough good things about this place and it’s workers.
