I came in from Fairbanks and live in Anchorage, while my buddy was going to have a layover to go to Kenai through Era. I went and got my bag and we went to this joint while he waited for his flight. In the hour we ate nachos, I had a beer and he scotch ,and a good time was had by all. The front of the establishment has bar seating while the back has small tables where one can look out the window and watch planes take off. I will come again.
Great chili but souper small portion -pun intended. Great variety of beer too. Location makes it easy to make it terminal A before you hop on that glorified cigar tube with wings...
Great place to wait for a Raven Air flight! The wings there's also a great view of the runway in back
I feel like lately I get excited (and, ok, maybe a little boisterous) and public NPC's mistake it for drunkenness? That may have happened here. My girlfriend and I scored $50 tickets to Kodiak for the weekend, and we were STOKED! We had never been. We were flying Ravn, so that means finding a place to eat/drink outside of security. If you want an ethanolic beverage outside the firm grip of TSA, this is your only option. Anyway, the gentleman working the bar barely communicated with us and looked at us like we were homeless people he wanted to kick out. Luckily, he still served us. Menu has a delightfully cool design. Food is average. Beer selection is average. Come here for a beer if you're flying Ravn. Otherwise, probably don't come here.
Decent place for a quick bite. Meatball sandwich is recommended. Cheesesteak is ok. All sandwiches are o.k. And expensive
