It was passable beggars can't be choosers. would not rush back and would not recommend. was up and out as soon as finished eating.

Stracathro is a service area beside the road between Aberdeen and the central belt. There are few places trucks can stop, and I’ve stopped there in the past for a coffee, food and use of facilities. We stopped today as we thought it would be open as there were a few trucks parked up. In fact though it was middle of the afternoon on a weekday the cafe was shut, the parking area was like the surface of the moon, and there was only 1 toilet available in the nearby service station. This is really not good enough for a major service area on a major Scottish route. Are the Scot gov completely relying on private services to provide and when they go out of business or close that’s it folks?
Scampi and chips with beans, a soft drink and a small cake to take away, really enjoyed the scampi it was lovely and moist, wasn’t till later that night that my belly started churning, the next day I was fortunately off work as I wasn’t able to be parted from my toilet for most of the day, by 6pm I had sh*t myself out and headed off to bed , the rest of the evening was spent farting very carefully, thankfully the next morning I was over it. So unless you want to loose a lot of weight very quickly, I’d avoid the scampi
