In...this case the P-race in the did heaven high, but eating altogether, not a certain dish was all mediocre and not worth the price. so they pay in the round for the view and the society of the wealthy visitors.
No words to describe the beauty and service of this hotel. never were treated so friendly and so perfectly. eat delicious. I had a soulful au gratin with a Yukon-Gold-Kartoffelmaische. Salad with baby-romaine perfectly cut and fresh...Parmesan slices. the butter has pressed the eden roc du cap logo into it. also the broth sticks are delicious. too much to describe how perfect this restaurant is. and the intention. omg!
This is the complain we have written to the hotel and have never received a reply, so we will inform them now all our experience. we visited her restaurant on Saturday, 4th september, I felt so relaxed about the weekend, I feel compelled. write them to express how disappointed my wife and I are with the experience. it was a very special jubilee day and something we have saved throughout the year. yes, the location was fantastic and the service was excellent. everyone was very helpful, polite and could not do enough for us. But when it came to eat, this took the glamour of all the experience. my wife and I chose the huh for the main course. when it came, it looked nice, but to see how much effort her waiter had to carve it, it was not a good start. the small pieces of the breast we had were beautiful, but the rest, we could not cut and open was not edible. also the proportions of nice for two people were completely inadequate we informed the waiter who said they would inform the cook. we haven't heard anything. incredible, we had better chickens from our local super market cost 11€. eden rock has calculated 170€! also my wife ordered a strawberry friedamisu, and when it came, it was just a buckling **** cream with some strawberries and berries in it. we feel very deceived how much the meal costs, 413€ (no alcohol as we do not drink) and that was not what we expected from one of the top restaurants on the cote D’azur. I don't just write this and felt it would be better to write them directly instead of finding out about this trip advisor, and I hope they will take these comments on board. this is now on tripadvisor after we were completely ignored and we would never go again.
Eaten here many times over the years food is good, without being outstanding or creative. Reliably good. Service is similarly reliably good. Its pricey but the views are beyond compare, and the atmosphere is reassuringly expensive . Walk down from the hotel via the avenue...to maximise the atmosphere of this stunning property.
Visited Riviera with friend this August and one of the top of the list for visit was Eden Roc hotel. I always admired this property and it's refined style and finally made it to the spectacular restaurant Eden Roc. Terrace with breathtaking views, young crew...full of energy. I have read comments prior booking lunch time and i said to myself I would not pay attention to the bad ones but go and see for myself. And it was truly WOW. We took seafood buffet which exceeded expectations of both my friend and myself, oysters-mouth watering on just thought of it. It was enough food for the whole afternoon but we couldn't eat anymore. It was truly filling and lovely. Service on point. No detail is overlooked, they have pulled chair for me every time I would be going back to my seat, nothing was messy at the table, somellier recommended to us bottle of Rose which was great too. There was a gentleman Italian French I believe his name was Emanuel or Eduardo (apologies forgot as I am posting comment after a while), his engagement and politeness was superb. At the end of experience, there was tall Russian waiter which anticipated sorbet for dessert apart of lovely trolley they have to offer and he brought it to us with no any extra charge. We truly enjoyed our afternoon and if in this part of the world again I would definitely come back for dinner this time. If you will be counting your spend, don't go as it is expensive but you get what you pay. Advise to everyone doubting to go or not, go without expectations and experience the magic. Setting is beautiful, views are stunning, food delicious and polite, attentive staff. I am in love with the place. It is not only about food but it's a whole package of enjoyment.
