This is small restaurant with a small sitting area. There menu is a melting pot of Caribbean cuisine mixed with an American twist with vegan options. They have a unique menu composed of a different countries. A few examples are the j chicken from Jamaica, legume from Haiti, fillet fish, wings, and empanadas. They also have a few tasty vegan dishes. The first time I visited I purchased jackfruit curry and yellow rice it was tasty. My mother had fried red snapper and rice, and my husband received a oriental inspired vegan dish made from saitan. The meals came with a side of vegetables. All of our meals was great! So much so we returned the following week and we all three purchased legume. The legume comes in two varieties one for the meat lovers and one for the vegans . My mother chose the meat legume (made with beef) and she enjoyed it. I choose the vegan legume which was oh so satisfying! I paired it with a side of sweet plantains and fried breadfruit which again was yummy! Unfortunately I don't have any pics, the smell of the food caught us and ate it all both times , lol. My only desire would be for the food to be have some spice level to it. Obviously, we will definitely return back . My goal is to try their entire vegan menu!
Delicious food and the staff was great! They had a nice selection of vegetarian options. I’ll definitely be back.
Delicious food and a very clean restaurant. Curry chicken is yummy. So are the veggies, rice and side dishes. Very friendly and courteous staff. Will certainly return for more.
Excellent food, with a nice presentation. Family owned and run. Would recommend to anyone
