Michael's - Apopka

I passed when I discovered Max Me, so I decided to stop for a lunch. This is my first time trying Jamaican Food and the lady was even friendly enough to try the Jerk Chicken, which was tasteful, tender and juicy. I finished the Jerk Chicken meal, which was not disappointed, and I also had to have a Beef Pattie in which I loved. In any case, come back and bring family and friends to this delicious place with such friendly people.

Really great food! We had the ox flour and the curry chicken, along with fried dumpling/pastry (taste like a magic donut, but even better because it was closer to bread than cake). The food had rich, complex aromas. The flesh fell from the bones! The fried curtains, perfect! My first decoration of the side cabbage, in the meal, I thought they were simple and overcooked. No! They were filled with magic Umami. Really delicious. The Lord who took our order was from Jamaica, super friendly and recommended all the food of the gods and he was right! Next time we're in the area, we're definitely going back. The inside is tiny, the outside has enough seating. It is a small mother and pop type place that I would highly recommend!

Authentic Ruck Chicken, as good as anyone I had in Jamaica. The portions are huge and the spices are perfect. If you are nearby, make the effort, great place.

I've been wanting to try this place forever and it did not disappoint! The curry chicken and jerk ribs were excellent. I'll definitely be back!
