Golden Wok Cafe - Ardsley

I ordered 2 different chicken dishes chicken broccoli and chicken in garlic sauce. They were both terrible! The chicken in both dishes was so dry like it was precooked and then over cooked and the sauce for the chicken broccoli was so salty and the garlic sauce was down right terrible. We couldn’t even eat them PLUS THEIR PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS!! I will stick to ordering in Dobbs Ferry.

Not the worst Chinese food I 've had, but definitely not the best. I 'd give them 5 stars if they were cheaper, but since they cost nearly as much as some really good places in the Rivertowns, I can 't give them more than 3. The service is quick, they are courteous, and the place checks all the boxes if you need a good, old-school Chinese takeout-type food. But the quality is meh.....

My mom and sister love this place! They have an entire menu with gluten-free options. Many Chinese restaurants cannot accommodate gluten-free customers but this place goes above and beyond. This is also my favorite Chinese food restaurant but it's a trek to get to for us. It's definitely worth it though! I usually get the chicken lo mein and general tso's chicken with brown rice. We have only gotten food to-go from here so I can't speak on the atmosphere of the restaurant itself or the servers but the majority of our experiences ordering from here has been positive! We think one time they messed up my sister's order and gave her a gluten-dish as opposed to gluten-free which was an issue, but other than that our meal experience has been great.

Convenient but the food is so bland. Not very friendly, but there plenty of free parking. Ask for house mustard because the food is bland. But good size portions!
