We had dinner at this restaurant and we had a great time. We ate cous-cous and chicken crayons. The staff was very kind and helpful, fast service, very good dishes and at very low prices. I add that during the week it is one of the few restaurants to stay open for dinner.
Stopped here on a late Tuesday night, well late by French standards. My last night in Arles and I wanted to eat one more time in the city core. Most cafes and restraurants were closed and the couple that were open weren't what was I was looking for. I noticed this hole in the wall cafe was open. Kids running about and just felt famliy like. I was really jonesing for a cheeseburger and wondered if this place makes them. They did and I ordered one. Cooked perfectly. Tasted awesome! Nice people. I would eat there again.
In pouring rain we chanced upon this Morroccan restaurant half way between the Roman amphitheatre (Les Arenes) and the roundabout which replaced the cafe where Van Gogh lodge and painted. Real Morroccan food including a really tasty vegetarian stew, freshly prepared, nicely but simply served in a no frills environment with the proprietor keeping an eye on his children playing under the awning and chatting to customers and compatriots while his wife cooked. Not the best loos however. We went in the early evening, not too busy but expect lunch woudl be crowded.
