The food was great.According to another reviewer the restaurant is now under new management as on june last year. This explains a lot as the quality of the food has become much worse recently. The Tikka Masala used to be excellent and now is poor and my Jalfrezi had half a bag of obviously from frozen peas and corn in it to bulk it up. The dish doesn't have those ingredients in it and definitely should not when they are clearly from frozen and poorly cooked. The last two times the food has been poor and we won't be going back.
We had the two recommended curries, the Lamb Baruchi and the Punjabi Saag. The lamb was tender and the mix delicious. The saag was flavourful. The spiciness level was on point. The naans were excellent and not burnt at all. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
The look of the restaurant itself is a bit drab and in need of updating but the food is fantastic! We've been back twice since within 2 weeks.
I had a excellent meal tonight .food was extremely awesome best butter chicken in brisbane .service was superb
They should rename this place goodbye India instead, because this was the most disappointing Indian I have ever had. My wife and I tried to dine in here on a Friday night around 6.30pm. There was nobody else in the restaurant when everywhere else was pretty busy (this should have been a big warning sign). We stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes waiting to be served. A line started accumulating of a couple of other people (this should have been warning sign #2). It is apparent this place is run by a wife and husband, with no other staff. Finally we were seated, then we sat for another 10 minutes and still hadn't been served. Eventually we just decided to get takeaway and it was much faster. We got home and we're excited to eat because it smelled incredible. Disappointing. The worse takeout I have ever had. Ever. Wow. The butter chicken I ordered tasted like a dessert it literally tasted like it had a bag of sugar in it. My wife got the chicken korma and it tasted like watery cream mixed with curry powder. It had no taste. I have had curries from Coles that taste better. How is it a supermarket curry can taste better than an Indian restaurant? You tell me. Considering the great food options in Nundah now, this place won't be around for long if they keep serving food this low quality.
