Café C Askim

Ordered Father's Day cake with chocolate filling. Fantastically good, completely fresh. Will happily order again : Service: Take out Meal type: Other

Really disappointing .. was on a trip into Askim so we thought we'd have a nice breakfast .. the food was ok coffee tasted really bad and the worst was the grumpy lady behind the counter she was either tired of her job or just didn't want anything to do. . sold and ran behind the wall talking on the phone .. no smile no pleasant experience Not recommended Service: Dine in

Cafe C has a central location on the second floor of Askimtorget shopping center and offers cakes, baguettes, soups, simple lunch and dinner dishes. The place has several tables and chairs in the center 's common area and appears as a lively and pleasant meeting place at the center. However, several of the tables were not cleared, which helped to reduce the overall impression. I ordered Soup of the Day which this day was a tomato and paprika soup. The dish was ready after a few minutes and was nicely presented with two toasts and margarine. However, the soup was not hot when it was served, despite the fact that this was a type of soup that should have been served piping hot. This also made the taste and consistency somewhat different than it should be. However, the portion of soup was generous and seemed to be based on fresh ingredients. The staff seemed a bit indifferent and I missed a little more interest and commitment for me as a guest. More focus on service, cleaning and and making sure that the hot food is actually hot would have helped to give the cafe a better score. As the experience was today, it is not tempting to return and I can not recommend the place to others.

Was very hungry after the O race, and unfortunately ended up here. Bought a C burger, and it can't really be described as anything other than a tasteless blob. Fortunately, the fries were well prepared.
