Beckmann's Hof - Bad Fallingbostel

When we lived in Fallingbostel from 2003-2004, Beckmanns Hof was somewhere we ate out regularly. It has a really homely and welcoming atmosphere and whilst never seemingly very busy, they always had a full menu and really good, traditional food. We used to take out one year old with us and they were so friendly towards her and were always accommodating with food for her and helping with the hugh chair etc.They have a great menu with a good selection .....my favourite was the beef stroganoff. We only lived around the corner so it was brilliantly situated for us.....it was strange finding it in the middle of the housing estate though.

Ate there yesterday had schnitzel with all the trimming very enjoyable. Others in the family had different choices but all enjoyed the food. A wide selection and reasonably priced. You can always tell a good eating house when the locals use it. The only quirky thing is the location in the middle of a housing estate, about a mile or so from the town.

Having lived here for 3 years i can say this was a lovely place to eat. delicious. very friendly and the food reasonable. i had the schnitzel. great atmoshphere too.

Still a great place to eat fully recommended should you visit this lovely Stadt. I really enjoyed living and eating in this town especially in this lovely restaurant .
