I see there is one review that says the food is better at Road Kill Cafe, nope, I ate there yesterday and the food was less than mediocre and I won't eat anywhere that tells you if you are done eating to quit flapping your gums and get out. Boggys only had one waitress but she did an excellent job my tea was never empty and we had everything we needed. The cornbread dressing was amazing. I will be back and I'm bringing friends.
The food was fantastic. Barbecue chicken and pork and meatloaf plus a range of sides including cabbage with bacon, mac&cheese, swamp soup, salad, and four choices of dessert. Catfish is apparently served Saturdays. Very friendly staff. Watch the pipe behind the buffet bar.
Homestyle Southern cooking at its best, the food was very tasty, Went back for seconds. Atmosphere was cozy definitely will be back again.
4th time here. Its not for me. They open around 11:10 at best. I live half a mile away. Two of the four times I thought they were closed. I had to call. Under staffed . The one girl does everything. Fills to go orders, hostess, server, etc . Once the sign said baked chicken. It was an entire pan of baked chicken legs. 15 dollars if you pay cash. The hostess server DJ expects 3 dollar tip to fill your tea onceVegetarian options: The greens were excellent!
Had a great home-cooked lunch in the cozy surroundings with very friendly service. We'll definitely be back!
