Used to go to Desperate Dans quite regularly, but was surprised by a recent visit, not very clean and very tired looking. Food is okay, but small portions
Brilliant wee caffe, to which I have been going for many years earlier I visited it as a teenager about 30 years ago and it has not changed anything; the same lady owner is still there that adds only the charm and...secret feeling! The food is nice, I had delicious dry crispy chips, a piece of baked pice and a beautiful side salad. The portion sizing is good, everything was freshly cooked and came hot. This meal was under a fifth excellent value!! There are many specials. I was particularly impressed by the selection of baked potatoes for 3.95 pounds each. Nothing is special and the owner is friendly, yet professional. I definitely come back and bring my family! Thank you.
This is a small family-run café with great simple food, dry crispy chips, crispy bacon, strong tea, many specials and nothing is special. Have often passed, but give it a try you will be pleasantly surprised.
This charming little restaurant in Ballymena has been a favorite of mine for almost 30 years. The food is always delicious, reasonably priced, and served by a wonderful staff in a cozy atmosphere.
