The sandwich was messy and bland, while the croquettes were dry and lacking in flavor. I usually prefer eating at Brown Rice or the taco place inside this marketplace, but decided to change things up. It was a mistake and we won't be returning.
The Fish and Chips at this restaurant were incredibly tasty. The fried cod is perfectly golden, moist, and flaky. It's a great choice for a summer meal, especially when paired with a sour beer from Taps next door.
This restaurant is situated in Mount Vernon Market Place! I was traveling through Baltimore and had to make a pit stop to satisfy my craving for fried seafood! I went to the counter and ordered the Tots N Tentacles as an appetizer and the Real MVP as my entrée. I waited about 15 minutes to receive my order. While waiting, my friends and I sat at the tables inside the market place. The staff at the counter was friendly and my order was prepared promptly. There was only one chef on duty.
I ordered the salmon sandwich and loved it. It came with a lemon slice and old bay mayo, which added a nice bit of flavor to an already well-seasoned fillet. The veggies on the sandwich were noticeably very fresh and crisp. The mac n cheese was good but nothing special.
My first experience at this place? I was shocked at how small my piece of salmon was, however, it was seasoned and cooked well. The dressing on the salad was super light and lacked flavor. My meal overall was okay.
