Ahearn's Country Cafe - Bangor

What a great pizza for $7.00!! We have 2 cakes and couldn't believe we have such a great pizza here in Martins Creek!! It's about time!! Back to Pizza Night once a week!!

I don't know when it was thoroughly cleaned this last time. Spinning weaves are everywhere, all chachki on the walls have tons of dust and dirt on them. The bathroom is located in the dishwasher zone AND there were NO HOT WATER in the only bathroom. I turned on the hot water and nothing came out. Only the cold water worked. I was actually afraid of eating there after I saw all this. It's a shame because it could be a nice place, but it needs TONS of work.

I have NEVER seen such a filthy place. The bathroom is disgusting and the staff does not where hair nets or gloves. While waiting for food I was subjected to hearing the Fword from workers within earshot. I'm also pretty sure I heard a dog in the kitchen. Is there no longer a health inspector?

An online menu would be very benifical for their business, I would like takout, but not available on a menu online. Give one! I also agree with both views a little. The food was excellent what a restorer and everything should be. I didn't hear dogs in the kitchen that the guy who wrote this post is an idiot. I doubt someone with a working brain would leave a dog in a professional kitchen. And who wears the hair nets? I was a linecook for three years, we had to wear hats. Besides, the guy is right not to wear gloves. I could see in the kitchen and noticed that the cook was not wearing gloves. I hope he washes his hands often. I didn't get sick of food, so she didn't have any contamination in my food, which was great.

I can't believe that review I've been going to the Ahearns Café for six years and the café is very clean and country feeling. GREAT PEOPLE,GREAT FOOD! The PRIME RIB ON FRIDAY NIGHT is for!!!!!!! now about the dog I think the owners penny phil have a few pets upstairs. all in all GREAT PLACE....
