Le Nicchie - BARI

Fantastic food and a quiet spot in Old Bari, Italy. We had carpaccio and parmigiana to start, both were amazing. The fish and orecchiette were also excellent. Highly recommend this niche restaurant right off Piazza Mercantile.

This restaurant serves nice traditional food. It’s at a good location and has friendly staff. I had octopus after a long time and I have to say that it tasted amazing, fresh and soft to my liking. It’s worth a visit if you are in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

We had lunch in this very nice restaurant and then returned for dinner: wonderful traditional dishes, pleasant atmosphere, excellent location in the historic center, friendly staff.

Siamo ritornati dopo pochi giorni perché si mangia bene , i camerieri sono molto gentili e la location è rilassante. Spaghetti all assassina superlativi ma anche tutte le altre specialità della cucina barese!

Lovely experience! very good food, staff was very detailed oriented and Toni, our table attendant made our night very pleasant. He presented us the variety of wines and we chose a light bodied Primitivo Adelphos which accompanied great the steak and the weather : we definitely recommend the place.
