Instead, I purchased an assortment of chocolates, and I have to say that even without considering the price, it was some of the worst candy I've ever had. I started with a salted caramel, which had a metallic taste, and I ended up throwing it away. I then tried a different piece, but it had the same metallic flavor, so that one went in the trash too. In total, half a pound of chocolates went to waste since there was nothing enjoyable about them. Honestly, I found Dove chocolate and my dad's Russell Stover's candies to be far superior.
I visited this place because it was ranked as one of the top fudge spots by Cape Cod Times, and I was really let down. The staff seemed unaware of their own products. The fudge was simply taken out of a brown box, even though the article claimed it was made on-site. The store itself felt cramped and had a musty smell. I think I'll try the runner-up for fudge instead. If you're considering going here for fudge, I recommend you look elsewhere; you might end up disappointed.
The food here is delicious, but I have an issue with how orders are managed while they wait to be picked up. Since the warmer weather started, my orders have been arriving as soup. It's not the delivery service—I can see where the orders are placed, and I've received less melted food from restaurants that are farther away.
I’m a little obsessed with the coffee-Oreo ice cream… the ice cream cakes are amazing as well!
This place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and their ice cream and chocolate are absolutely delicious!
