This is a great spot in Bastrop. Wonderful staff and great ice cream. I will definitely be back, soon. 100% recommend.

In a charming spacious soft lit vintage room. The detail to furnishings is a delight. The avocado smash and quiche simply put, delicious! Avoid the Chai, it is more like hot water and a distant, distant taste of chai.

I've never had anything bad on the menu. I finally got a chance to see the new location and it is beautifully done and so amazing I love the assortment of non edible items they have by various artists. I love everything about the place. Pride, liberty and the pursuit of yumminess one bite at a time.

First of all, what a great location. The fact that they kept the original charm of the old Lock Drugstore(as much as possible while adding the kitchen and serving counter) is amazing. Its a very welcoming atmosphere all around. The food, is phenomenal. Even though it's hot as ?, I was intrigued by the peanut stew. And I was not disappointed. So much flavor! The caprese was perfection, and paired well with the stew. I'm excited to come back and try more of the menu. I'm not a vegetarian, but I gotta say, this place will definitely have my repeat business. Hats off to these Tough Cookies!

Absolutely fantastic place! The owner is really cool, and I loved the food. I can't over state my appreciation and fondness for this establishment.
