Donovan's Grill Tavern - Bayside

I ordered a chicken parmesan and it was pretty good and large in portion. Shared a burger with someone else and it was larger than the average burger and well put together. The burger was the highlight of the night. It was fairly loud in the restaurant which I didn't expect. Our service wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing.

I went there late Thursday afternoon and ordered her spinach and artichoke dip for my appetizer that was hot and tasty. For my duck, I had the cake of her shepherd. It was delicious. I've always been past this place, but I've never been immersed.

Father's day brunch was absolutely amazing. It was a last minute decision and one I'm glad we made. Our server Mariana was delightful and efficient, truly an asset to the restaurant. The food was excellent and we will be going back again soon.
