I never felt so confused to eat a rice ball. the grilled reisball was the only decent. I got the laugh that was okay. the sides were okay. the service was also dirty. I sentenced my order and gave me a refund, but never apologized.
Fantastic place and eat. the onogiris are delicious. I wanted to have a light, healthy and good lunch before a 3 hours game at bam and that was the perfect choice.
Delicious. Fresh. Healthy. Quick. No space to eat in but it looks like they have outdoor seating for when the weather is nice.
I guess if you want a healthier onigiri and japanese box lunch place this is it. Just didn't do it for me. Salmon with koji was moist and tasty, if a little boring/predictable. Onigiris are made with brown rice, which adds a stronger flavor than white rice and can overpower the taste of the fillings. It also stuck like crazy to the brown bakery paper they use to hold them. Maybe try extra seaweed instead for an alternative sustainable take. At least I can eat that with all the rice stuck on it.
The miso soup is totally vegan (no katsuo fish flake) and DELICIOUS. The staff who work here are also incredibly kind. It is a very adorable shop as well. I got the sweet corn grilled rice ball and it was also DELICIOUS. Cold Japanese tea (I got Mugi) was also excellent. I can’t leave more stars than 5, otherwise I would.
