Highside Cafe Restaurant - Bayswater

The coffee was mediocre, possibly burnt milk. However, the food was delicious, especially the big breakfast with a variety of high-quality ingredients. The prices at this restaurant are reasonable.

Met here with friends for morning coffee, nice bright atmosphere. Interesting breakfast menu and snacks. Particularly impressed with the way my large croissant was presented, sliced in half and the inside toasted and served with butter and choice of preserves. Our friend had the pancake with ice cream. There was a choice of berries or banana, ice cream or cream. Others had cakes from the cabinet and the thick toasted raisin bread was toasted just right. Nice outside seating for a sunny day with pleasant view of the mountains-and very convenient for the local shops.

Another place we keep going back to as it’s reliably good all the time and reasonably priced, I had the big brekky this morning for $21 and it was huge and I couldn’t finish it also the quality is good, I was disappointed I couldn’t eat any more. Coffee is pretty good but not outstanding

Pop in today with a few friends for a coffee and cake . The coffee was very nice and the cake was wonderful. The service was excellent and the staff where very friendly

This cafe is one of the top in the area. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, the coffee is hot, and the prices are the most affordable in the whole suburb.
