Joy Poke - Beaverton

I absolutely loved it! I enjoyed a generous portion of fresh raw salmon, enhanced by the most delicious toppings I chose from their bar. Even though a few months have passed, I can't stop remembering how incredible it was!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I entered the restaurant. From the outside, I thought it might be a dive offering subpar Hawaiian poke. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it had a vibe similar to a healthier version of a Laughing Planet-style eatery. The poke appeared fresh and of high quality. My wife particularly loved the combination of the salad and poke.

I really love the food here, but the customer service could use improvement. The Asian staff member who is often there tends to be quite rude and always seems to be in a bad mood.

I have mixed feelings about my visit to this restaurant. Initially, the staff was quite unfriendly during my service, and there was a billing mistake where I was overcharged. They were reluctant to acknowledge the issue and insisted it was my fault for not paying attention, even though I had clearly communicated my change of mind about an extra portion. After a while, they seemed to soften a bit and offered me complimentary soup. However, I couldn't tell if it was genuinely complimentary or just part of the menu since I was still feeling flustered. They did apologize, but I'm unsure if it was sincere. Additionally, I found the portion sizes to be quite small for the price.

This has become my favorite place for poke. They offer a great selection of fresh toppings, serve generous portions of fish, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. I really couldn't ask for more!
