We had a wonderful 3-course lunch. starting with an salate with molten goat cheese toast on honey-glacier. my head was grilled lamb with domestic chips. to dessert, I had brunn crumb cake. for drinking with my meal can be a 25cl red like. all. a good and friendly service for the price from 13,50 euro. we'll be back soon.
We enjoyed our meals in this economic restaurant. my man went for the set menu at just 20 € and ordered the green salat with goat cheese and jam serrano, but felt that it was not enough cheese and too much salat and the sink was a...bit dried. his main course of the bavette was nicely cooked medium rare, although it did not seem to be the best cut, and was tasty but chew. this was served with a lot of sauces and he chose a pfeffer sauce, beautiful house made chips and a small plate of ratatouille. I only ordered the chicken breast with pfeffer and sawn sauce, which also came with homemade chips and ratatouille. we chose the crême caramel for pudding, which was beautiful and we were served small free drinks, which after our meal tasted like piña colada: very beautiful. we also had a pichet rosé wine and that cost only 40 €.
Found place by accident last year. Back since! Lunch menu limited but beautifully cooked. Lovely spot too. Quarter bottle of wine included in lunch formule. Often full by 12,
We wanted to treat some good friends to lunch, so I rang the restaurant on a Sunday and left a message booking a table for 12.30pm the next day market day. We arrived on time and they were quite busy, but not full. The...waitress said their message machine had not worked and we would have to wait 10 minutes until they could take our order. One and a half hours later we got our first course. They had sold out of the Assiette Andalouse and the bavette de boeuf. We had an extremely ordinary plate of charcuterie eventually, followed by well cooked chicken and chips with a sauce that tasted like Campbell's mushroom soup. Dessert was canned lychees, pear and chocolate crumble (only one left), chocolate cream or ice cream. We had no real apology, apart from a small free Bacardi on ice at the end. We will not be troubling Boca Loca again.
