Jake's Wayback Burgers - Bel Air

Okay, I hate to leave bad reviews, but this one just left a bad taste in my mouth. I went there for the first time. I had traveled 40 minutes to an appointment near them and I was meaning to give them an attempt. So I said, hey today is my day. No. I ordered a double Bacon broker, waited about 15 min and my order was ready. I decided to open my burgers on the street for 20min. (I'm hungry?) NOT a SINGLE BACON in the Burger. I said I'm starving and I'll eat the burger, but that wasn't what I'm PAID for. I called them and told them about the mistake and asked if I could get a refund. First, the manager said he should come back for a new one. I explained several times, I don't live there and it's a long ride. Esp for a burger. Then she said I should take the card to float it for a refund. I had to tell her again that I didn't live there. It's not a 3 minute drive it? A 40-minute drive. Her tone made me feel like I was the one in wrong. No, you made my order wrong and I didn't get what I paid for. Honestly, I want to enter something more than morality of history. I'm very disappointed at a place I tried. Customer service is 0/5. I really regret trying to do it because I had to run through the rain to get into and out of their store. I was just really hoping for a good burger.

Unfortunately, if Burger places go around this area, this is probably one of the Lesser options. If Burgers simply do not seem a great amount of flavor to them. I don't know if they are just not well seasoned, but if you bite in the burgers, you just get the sensation of beef through your teeth without real taste depth behind it. You can taste the cheese and sauce, but the meat is simply lost, which you do not want with a burger. Price is also a problem. $10 or more for just a fairly standard burger with bacon is the extravagant product on it just doesn't feel it for a middling burger, especially if you need for the fact that you need to pay even more for frits and a drink. If you want a restaurant with seating, go better somewhere else where you might get some different types of meat or toppings, other than just the standard salad bacon and tomato affair.

The pictures do really make the food look great so good job on the marketing team. I would like to say that it was the driving factor of my purchase. I will try and be as unbiased as possible and show you pictures and you be the judge. Besides that, the food was ok, I would come again but another note is 5.99 for a small loaded fry and 2.99 extra for an additional pattie. That's half the cost of the burger lol.

I ordered a double cheese burger for $9 (firstly overpriced for a burger)Then I had a 13 minute wait. I was never asked if i wanted condiments. I thought they were included like Wendy's or anywhere else. There was no tomato, lettuce or onion on it. Should have eaten lunch any where else this is unamerican. Don't waste your time or money on this place. What a scam.

Great. Ordered the classic and cheesy burger. Then did the same order the next day. We were surprised how good it tasted. Maybe one of the best burgers in Harford County!
