The food is excellent, and the service from the staff is top-notch. This place serves some of the best chicken in Mauritius!

However, the server assigned to our table disappeared after delivering our initial drinks. They left bottles of cola, Sprite, and other beverages on other tables, but not ours, and they kept taking them away. When the food service began, everyone around us received their meals promptly, but ours arrived much later because the staff prioritized serving a new group of guests. We also did not receive the bread that should have accompanied our meal. My father had to wait quite a while for his lobster, which looked nothing like the one depicted in the pictures on the menu. While we tried to remain patient and not make a scene, our frustration grew when we were asked to leave because the boatman was waiting for us. Due to the delays that were not our fault, we didn’t get our dessert. Instead, we were given grilled bananas wrapped in tissue as we were leaving. My wife was upset since we had paid the same amount as everyone else but hadn’t received the same level of service. In her anger, she tossed the bananas into the water. This prompted the boatman to yell at her, but she couldn’t defend herself as she doesn’t speak English. I had to intervene because it was just a banana—it’s biodegradable, and people often do worse things. For instance, I saw another woman feeding monkeys junk food, yet he didn’t say anything to her. Afterwards, I wanted to speak with him about the situation, but when we were disembarking from the boat, he intentionally moved it away as my wife was getting off, causing her to fall into the water. This was highly unprofessional, and he quickly sped off back into the ocean, leaving us with no opportunity to resolve the issue. We reported what happened to the manager, who took some action in response.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome. For lunch, we indulged in grilled chicken, fish, sausages, salad, and unlimited drinks. For dessert, we were treated to some oranges. The lunch package is definitely a great value!
