Most employees are always smiling and striving in anyway they can help. If I ever find myself in Dublin, I'll stay here again.
Can't recommend this place enough. Whether it's your first time in Dublin or your 100, this is the place to go. The staff is friendly, friendly and accommodating. From the moment I went with my bags, it showed that their top priority was to give the best experience. The food is authentic, efficient and delicious. If you fall your utensils, the bartender will be on your side with a new one before you pick it up. Leroy, who runs the facility, lets you feel like family from the outset and creates a very welcoming environment. Besides the amazing staff is the cultural experience. Unlike most places close to downtown you will get a real local experience that cannot be compared with the tourist trap that is Temple Bar. Here you can get to the locals, pay local prices and enjoy traditional Irish music at the right night. You can't go wrong with Kennedy.
A great place to stay when you visit Dublin. Located on the Nordic side of the city, our hotel room (above the pub) was clean and spacious. The manager was very friendly and let us check in 2 hours early and gave us his phone number with the key if we needed it. We stayed for two nights and spent the first night in the pub and listen to the Trad session of the locals until they closed. It was a nice place to stay if you don't want to be in the Temple Bar or the busiest parts of Dublin, but still want to enjoy the atmosphere of a beautiful, Mahagoni pub and local music every evening. The only small catch is that there is no A/C (usually not needed in Ireland) and the pub is located on a very busy street and when the windows are open, the traffic is really loud, so bring earplugs and enjoy this big spot.
Myself and my wife had a lovely dinner here recently. Got to watch the end of the Ireland match too. Good seats. Food was really nice. Staff were pleasant.
A really great restaurant and Pub in South East Dublin. Kennedy sits right outside the Trinity College area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food came pretty fast. They have a bar in the front and basement and back area is the restaurant with another bar Small but typical pub menu. Burgers, soup, appetizers. Burgers were really good as was the soup and bread. Highly recommended if you are in the Trinity area and want food and don't want a place too crowded.
