The restaurant fully reflects the personality of the manager, friendly, welcoming and with great attention to detail. As for the catering, the service is actually very simple and informal as you can expect from a refuge, but the dishes I consumed were of a high standard. The falafel are excellent and highly recommended! Even though 1300km away I promised myself I would return in 2024! Really good! Fleur please forgive the spelling) is a very special person and her passion for food and hospitality was imbued at the Refugio. We felt so at home and just loved her food. The locals frequent her place so it was wonderful to interact with them and for a brief time be part of the community. Highly recommend her place for the food , hospitality and local interaction. Traditional cuisine, great value lunch at €15/person, friendly, speedy service. Only open a month, waitress helpful in translating menu to English.

We were recommended to visit Refugio Telera for dinner by a local guide. We were so glad we did.we enjoyed the delicious food especially the vegetable and vegetarian options. Flor was such lovely host. What a treat!
