We came here twice, not only because the food was good, but the welcome and the service were no longer found. this family-run restaurant was exactly the relaxed, friendly place we wanted and why we were returned. highly recommended
Beautiful solo lunch experience at this magnificent place in the center of biot. I choose the plate du jour, which was a very generous piece of delicious salmon on a bed delicious risotto. the a la carte menu is perfect with beautiful salads. tasty looking burger, pastas, fish and meat. not a long list, but I prefer a lot of a tasty menu that will be fresh and tasty. wein through the glass (generated portions) or by competitive bottles. Although I was alone, I still got a large basket of delicious broth rolls and was the time in a not rushing atmosphere to enjoy the lunch before the walk to the house! beautiful owners and employees who add to the excellent atmosphere. I'm back.
Le Bistrot du Village is one of several on the one street that runs through the town. If you are not a resident, you must leave your car in the parking lot below the village and walk up the somewhat steep hill. There are a...number of gift shops along the street in addition to a few restaurants. The waitress was very friendly. There were several menu items not available but that was not a problem. My husband had the cannibale pizza--onion confit, black olives, ground meat, cheese, tomato sauce and it was quite delicious. I order the roasted fish with vegetables and it was very, very good. We were also served great bread, a simple green salad and fresh berries for dessert. Simple preparation and wonderful.
An early'ish evening meal and we were the first in. Very pleasant welcome and given a fresh crisp salad as an entree. The menu isn't extensive but covers most tastes and we went for Linguine Carbonara and the filet du Loup which was served with fresh roasted vegetables. Both dishes were very good and were accompanied by a bottle of rosé. Desserts were poached pears and creme brûlée. Small criticism on the pears in that it would have been nicer if the core had been removed but both dishes tasted excellent. Coffee to finish and all in all a very nice meal. Service was attentive and engaging. We visited this restaurant last year and would certainly go again.
