We tried Vinny's for the second time last night. For $60, we got two large pizzas, one salad and an order of garlic knots. The garlic knots were barely bigger than marbles and soaking wet with some oily butter into the trash! The pizzas were bigger than the box and folded over onto themselves. The crust was super thin, but instead of being somewhat crisp or having some chew, it was wet and soggy. And, like the first time, it was very salty. I've got no comment about the salad, it went untouched and is now sitting in the refrigerator. Also, I asked the girl if they could make an order of cheesy bread or bread sticks since I had three little ones come for dinner. No, we only have garlic knots. It couldn't be that hard to sprinkle some cheese on a pizza crust. We miss Mike's Pizza!
Ordered a Vinny’s deluxe pizza delivery. Have had better. Some of crust burnt. For 30.00 including delivery tip and 10% off Was expecting much better pizza.
Honestly some of the worst food and customer service in the area. Up until a couple years ago the employees and managers were free to drink alcohol while working and the food and temperament of the workers reflected that. The owner of this place can often be seen yelling, red faced with either employees or customers and has no ability to handle any kind of negative criticism. The pizza is mostly flavorless, the only flavor coming from the toppings you select. Any of the pastas you can order are either too watery with sauce with zero flavor or contains so much oil you might feel the need to literally strain your food. Even something as simple as butter noodles makes you wonder just what they used to make it taste the way it does. The garlic knots you get with the pasta, even when cooked right (not hard and chewy), have a very noticeable chemical aftertaste. Most of the time even the employees will choose to make their own dish or prepare something way off menu rather than eating menu items for their lunches. If that isnt enough to speak on the service and quality just try ordering food for delivery. Even living within 5 mins of this establishment your general minimum wait time will be an hour. Should you get displeased that you have had to wait over an hour and call the front of house to speak with anyone about your food you will often get half hearted apologies, excuses, or just flat out indifference. The turn around for employees speaks well for how they are treated by the owner or their managers which is reflected greatly in the food you are expected to consume.
Ordered pizza and was told it would be a 35 minute wait. I arrived at 30 minutes expecting to wait 5 minutes. But had to wait another 25 minutes I would have left but expected it to be ready at anytime !. The last time I ordered a pizza from Vinny 's I was told it was going to be 30 minutes I arrived at the 30-minute marked got home and the pizza was ice cold. Not to worry will never be ordering a pizza from Vinny 's again
