Feedback gevenThis was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I was welcomed by friendly staff and delightful aromas. As I made my way to the food line, I met Will, who resembles Seth Rogen. He was very friendly and patiently answered all my questions about the menu. The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, definitely worth every penny and more. Not only was the food excellent and nutritious, but the overall atmosphere was positive and uplifting. After dining here, I can confidently say that I will never step foot in a fast food restaurant again. The hard work and commitment to providing quality, nutritious, and delicious meals truly shines through.
Initially, we were a bit taken aback by some of the unusual combinations on the menu, like tomato and blackberry with jalapeño. It all seemed quite strange to us, but we were eager to give it a try. After our first bite, we were completely amazed; it was one of the best dishes I've ever had in my life! We each cleaned our plates, savoring every last bite. We definitely plan to return. Just a heads up, though—the restaurant is tucked away and quite difficult to find. You have to go through a business on the first floor, climb two flights of stairs, and it’s hidden behind a yoga studio. We were so glad we sought it out, but it's a shame it isn’t more visible. Overall, it was truly inspiring to experience how delicious a herbal diet can be. I’m definitely interested in trying some of those recipes!
This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. Where else can you witness how your calf is massaged in garlic and olive oil, then paired with some of the freshest, most creative, and delicious vegetable combinations, all enhanced by your choice of flavorful herbal and spice dressings? Last night, my daughter, her friend, and I indulged in a New Year's dinner that was absolutely incredible, featuring an array of appetizers and seven exquisite courses. The chef takes the time to explain each dish, sharing cooking secrets that reveal his mastery of heat, sweetness, and texture. Some of the most memorable highlights included homemade quinoa crackers, cashew cheese, sweet pea and sweet potato hummus, a rich shiitake mushroom soup, vibrant sauces brushed with golden and magenta hues atop yellow stone, and the delightful shiiitake risotto, finished off with delicious pumpkin mousse cakes.
I can't say enough about the friendly staff and the delicious food. Everyone was warm and greeted us with a smile and an enthusiastic explanation of the fresh ingredients for the day. We ate three meals there in the two days we were in Boone and every bowl we created was from this world. This place was so wonderful, I might have to return to Boone earlier than expected to visit again! I recommend Kindly Kitchen!
I've always thought of being a vegan as an extremely difficult lifestyle choice that I equated to like, abstinence, but this place has made me rethink everything I knew about the vegetable. Vegetables have always been that thing I tolerated next my steak and on occasion picked at for some vague sense of healthy karma, but this place has me eating like a vegan and thoroughly enjoying it. On top of that this place is locally owned and operated plus all the ingredients are sourced locally, this place is like an SD wet dream and more people need to know about it.
