My first time at Butcher's was in 2012 with the angels (volunteers) of Yes We Can Read and it was magical as it was filled with inspiration, I still remember how delicious the food was which keeps getting better each time I visit. I recently tried The Butcher's Spicy Thai Steamed Captain fish. OMG! This was amazing and I love the way it was wrapped in banana leaves. You can't go wrong with the fillet pepper steak and the grilled chicken; the lime flavor is too much love. If you love chocolate you must try the chocolate malt pudding. Overall it's a beautiful place with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff.
The place makes you forget where you are as the patio seating is completely surrounded by trees. It's such a lovely place with great service. Our food was good but the dessert was amazing. Can't wait to go here again.
Great staff and beautiful place but my breakfast orders were all bad. Had the burnt sugar french toast which was replaced with the microwaved frozen pancakes. Pancakes aren't hard to make so I don't see the reason. My tea was with warm not hot water. It was just little things that added up
I love this place. Used to go there almost every Sunday for their brunch buffet when I visited The Gambia. It’s an amazing selection of dishes for only D450. I highly recommend this place. I think there’s a lunch buffet on Wednesday but I prefer the Sunday buffet over that. The Wednesday buffet doesn’t have a lot of variety to choose from.
