I would recommend Sakya for anyone interested in authentic and modern Japanese foods.
This place is over exquisite. we have been here since we moved to brixton 6 months ago and eating has always been excellent since the first time, we have tried her chicken catsu curry. our 3 years old (the crazy picky eater) just adooores their food. And the beautiful lady who owns the place always cuts the bun into smaller pieces for him because he likes it so. this place deserves all stars and more.
I wanted to visit this place a whole place and get him down tonight. great sushi and definitiw the visit worth, also beautiful host and great presentation of eating. can not wait to try again more elements from the menu, thanks for the team
By far the best sushi we have had and amazing to watch it being made so beautifully right in front of you. The sake prosecco is well worth trying. We chatted to Nori the chef and she is lovely too.
I ordered the 'Brixton Special' sea bass ceviche, and it was absolutely stunning! The flavors were fresh and delicate, enhanced by a spicy Caribbean twist in the sauce. The seaweed salad and edamame beans provided a refreshing contrast, while the salmon sashimi and seared salmon sushi were incredibly tender, dissolving in the mouth like butter. I paired it all with a delightful hot glass of sake. I highly recommend this place!
